'Om Shanti Om' hysteria builds up in Germany

No doubt Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh has a huge fan following worldwide. The latest addition to this is, his forthcoming film 'Om Shanti Om' which is set to release in November is building hysteria in Germany.

In Germany as well Shah Rukh has a large number of fan following. The dubbed version of his home production 'Main Hoon Na' was received very well in Germany. And now they are waiting for his next 'Om Shanti Om'.

Reports have that thousands of his fans have requested the director of the Berlin Film Festival for the screening of 'OSO' in the next fest. Director of the film Farah Khan also admitted that the movie's official website has got at least two lakh hits and posts from various country's like Germany, Russia, France, Poland, and Austria.

The next Berlin Film Fest comes in February 2008. So instead of screening it at the Fest, director Farah Khan has already decided to release the film worldwide on November 9.

Farah also had talks with the film's distributors, Eros International, to release the movie in Russia as well for a wider market.

Reports also have that a German magazine 'Rapid Eye' is coming up with a book on the making of 'Om Shanti Om'.

'OSO' introduces newcomer Deepika Padukone along with Shah Rukh. The film shows a journey of a struggling actor to a superstar.
